There is a variety of gifts but always the same Spirit; there are all sorts of services to be done, but always the same Lord; working in all sorts of different ways in different people, it is the same God who is worshiped.
- I Corinthians 12: 3-7, 12-13
Our Faith - Anchored in Scripture & Creeds
What we believe and teach is based on Sacred Scripture and the belief definitions of the seven Ecumenical Councils of the Catholic Faith that were held before the Great Schism of 1054.
As part of the independent catholic movement in America, the churches and other ministries are in the Old Catholic Church tradition. The First Vatican Council in 1870 adopted the doctrine of Papal Infallibility. The Catholic Churches that did not accept Papal Infallibility and broke away from the Roman Catholic Church at that time are called Old Catholic Churches. Old Catholics, then, are an historic part of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. We trace the Apostolic Succession of our clergy through several lines including the Old Catholic Church.
We are an Old Catholic Church in name, spirit, and polity (governance structure).
